Scott Armstrong

Barra Point Advisory is the practice through which I lead complex transformation programmes for large organisations, at CFO, CIO and CPO level.

I've delivered Oracle Fusion across 20 New Zealand health boards, SAP Central Finance across 40 countries, and led a £50M+, 400-entity ERP selection at SITA. I've worked across financial services, FMCG, healthcare, logistics, travel and the public sector, in the UK and for many years in Australia and New Zealand.

Today much of my work is recovery. CIOs and CFOs call me when a programme has stalled, slipped or gone live badly, and the pattern is consistent: around 80% of the recoveries I lead trace back to decisions made at the point of purchase. So the other half of my work is helping organisations buy and set up programmes properly, so they never need someone like me.

I'm direct about what I find. Evidence, not opinion. The sponsor hears it first, privately. And the fix goes where the business is breaking: cash, customers and compliance first.
